Greetings,
And thanks so much for dropping by.
My name is Chris (No … Not Barton Chase … Long story but Barton Chase is the brand name).
I started way back when with photography being a hobby. I used to love walking around getting street photography shots and this made me very happy. I came to realise what I loved even more was taking photos of people that made them happy.
I just love working with people and being able to give them memories.
I have been INCREDIBLY lucky to have worked on some truly fabulous projects (at the moment I am resident Photographer of the fabulous De Hood boxing gym and community centre).
I have previously been the photographer to the Sheffield Antiques Quarter, worked the Mary Berry Tent at the Chatsworth Country show, provided publicity material for a Master Chef quarter finalist, done the publicity for Paradise Hill productions (run by Aaron Casserly Stewart, former singer with the three times Grammy award winning Sounds of Blackness) and even produced a CD image for a Madonna record label signed artist.
I also frequently collaborate with the stunningly talented Make up Artist Amanda Louise Ellis who working on Fast and Furious, Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows and Dark Shadows (She has powdered Johnny Depp for goodness sake … She claims to have not washed her hands since but happily I can inform you this is not true and she is very clean).
I would like to think that I am easy going, friendly, warm and chatty … Sometimes to the point of not shutting up … Apologies in advance.
I like to think of myself as the “Aldi Photographer” providing a great product at a great price.
So that’s pretty much my intro … Get in touch, tell me about you and lets see if we can do some images together.
All the best
Chris
